Shipston’s new mayor Councillor Philip Vial, who took over the reins from the previous mayor Ronnie Murphy last month has vowed he will involve young people from the town this year.
He will be campaigning for the under threat youth club Young Firefighters Association because of the planned cuts to Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service and has also pledged to raise money for Drugs Action Shipston a local charity that counsels young people at risk from drugs and alcohol.
