How do I register?

To register on the website use the ‘Register’ link on the top of every page. This will take you to the register page where you need to add a user name and an email address. You will be sent an email with confirmation of your user name and a generated password with a link to the log in page. Copy the password, follow the link and add your user name and paste in your password (this can be changed later to a more easy to remember password on your profile page).

How do I login?

To log in to the website use the ‘Log in’ link on the top of every page. This will take you to the log in page where you need to enter a user name and password sent to you when you registered.

I have lost my password, what do I do now?

To have your password sent to you again use the ‘Register’ or ‘Log in’ link on the top of every page. This will take you to a form and below the form there is a link to ‘Lost your password?’. Add your user name or email address and hit the ‘Get New Password’ button. You will be sent an email with confirmation of your user name and a link to the log in page. On this page add your new password and then confirm your password and hit the ‘Reset Password’ button. You will now be able to login with your new password.

What’s my profile page?

The profile page lets you edit your details and change your password. You can also see links to your business listings and events you have added. You can get to your profile page from the profile link at the top of every page.

What information can I include in my Free Listing?

A free listing on ShipstononStour.com includes:

• Your business or place name
• Your nearest city or town
• Listing address
• A marker on a Google map
• Listing description
• Phone number
• Email address
• Add images
• Choose two categories for your listing

Is the local business listing only for businesses in Shipston on Stour?

No, your listing will be included if it is close to one of the cities or towns featured on ShipstononStour.com.
